TechVis Tool

The TechVis tool created in Unreal Engine is designed to quickly measure the distance between actors and walls within a virtual scene, making it easier to visualize and plot shots before filming. This functionality helps production teams to plan camera angles, set positioning, and choreography efficiently, ensuring accurate setups and clear technical understanding prior to the shoot.

Key Features:-

  • Get Measurements between camera, wall and physical assets/actors in real-time.

  • Visualize the measuring distance for easy understanding.

  • Quickly change the LED wall mesh, makes it versatile and easy to setup on new LED configuration.

  • MoirĂ© warning when camera is too close to the wall.

  • Use up to 3 actors for measurements.

Measuring Tape Tool

The Measuring Tape tool makes measuring and calculating distances between objects quick and easy, both in the viewport and during the runtime using carious metric options.

Key Features:-

  • Using Mousing Right Click measure the distance between the actors or measure height/width of the actors

  • Change the Measurements to any metric like Inch,feet,km,etc

  • Control the thickness and color of the measuring tape on per instance

  • Control the measuring tape using a spline point to manipulate the start and end points of the measurements

PCG - Level Instance

Key Features:-

  • Easily create Procedural Paths,Roads with additional assets

  • Control decimals

  • Leveraging Level Instance so we can edit the path to our liking in a non-destructive manner

Houdini HDA Building Generator

Key Features:-

Material Layering System

Using Editor Utility Widget create a tool to quickly add Dynamic and baked Light Rays to a spot light or react light. with controls to manipulate colors,length,depth,etc. Helps artist to quickly add cinematic light look and feel to a scene.

  • Ability To Blend 2 or More Layers using a mask or noise in real time

  • Shared Material Library across Env,Objects

  • Give more freedom on set to Quickly make changes to the Hero Assets

Light Streak

Key Features:-

  • Easily Add Streaks/GodRays to the Spot light or rect light in the edior

  • Use gobo Textures or Noise to create Rays

  • Animate the movement in level Sequencer for the dynamic rays

  • Art Direct, shape, color, intensity of the rays

Created a sky blueprint that lets us adjust the sun or moon position according to the time of day with additional features.
